Batting for the Moon Hat Collection
YEAR
2018-2020
In 2017, I began creating hats as symbols of inner transformation, born from intuition and spiritual energy. The first appeared without conscious intention—a rider’s cap that sparked a dialogue with archetypal and lunar symbolism.
Moving to Mexico, I used found objects and textures as tools for spiritual anchoring. Each hat became a prayer, reflecting moon phases and personal rites of passage—especially after a significant night with a barn owl and the full moon, symbolizing guidance and awakening.
The series centers on hats as sacred vessels—protectors and portals that embody lunar archetypes and divine energy. Inspired by Mexico’s vibrant street art and layered textures, I imbue each piece with blessings, intentions, and prayers, transforming them into personal talismans.
These hats serve as spiritual armor—tools for protection, healing, and peace—connecting the wearer to the cosmic cycles of transformation and inner power. They are offerings of light, meant to remind us of our divine connection and the ongoing journey of growth.
